Welcome to the Lost & Found archive, featuring photographs and reports from our evenings as well as information about the participating artists. The artists’ websites are published here so they can be contacted directly. All flyers have been photographed; their materiality is visible, with corners, folds, and relief retaining their tactile quality on screen.This site takes the form of a growth model and behaves as a work in its own right: it is always, and never, finished. The site functions as an archive and is not updated regularly; if you wish for a change or update, you may submit a request.

Since 1997, over 200 sessions of stray images and sound have been organised. Artists, writers, scientists and musicians present work in progress, experiment or present work that doesn't fit into their oeuvre (yet). A specific and unique stage for diverse and hybrid works which don't fit comfortably into galleries or museums.

    Mijn goede vriend Brutus was bezig om een tafel voor mij te bouwen voor in mijn kamer. Ik lag op bed en aanschouwde hoe hij hevig in de weer was met zijn nieuwe Japanse trekzaag. We moesten wel een beetje opschieten want ik had om 21:00 een afspraak ergens. Ik was erg moe en had weinig zin om nog de deur uit te gaan, bovendien was het kijken naar hoe iemand ingenieus van wat hout een tafel in elkaar flanst een erg fijn en meditatief tijdverdrijf.

    Waar moet je zijn dan?
    Ja bij zo’n kunstding, ik moet daar gaan filmen
    Wat ga je filmen dan?
    Ik weet het niet zo goed, volgens mij zijn het allemaal performances en dingen die niet perse als kunst worden gezien, maar dat misschien wel zijn..
    Oke oke.. Maar ik wil wel deze tafel eigenlijk afbouwen
    Ja ik kan je bellen als ik klaar ben daar, of ga mee.. misschien vind je het wel leuk
    Kost ‘t geld? Ik moet ook nog eten trouwens
    Nee ik kan je gratis meenemen, eten is daar ook
    Oke ja ik join wel
    Oke ai, dan moeten we wel nu nu gaan
