Since 1997, over 200 sessions of stray images and sound have been organised. Artists, writers, scientists and musicians present work in progress, experiment or present work that doesn't fit into their oeuvre (yet). A specific and unique stage for diverse and hybrid works which don't fit comfortably into galleries or museums.

Chun Sensei

    While the young rapper Chun Sensei screams words through the microphone, and drapes a scarf over his head, people slowly walk in. Chun Sensei is music for youth, by the youth and that makes it even more fun that his target audience is completely absent. As an uncomfortable welcome committee, he manages to attract attention and to win over the audience.
    Chun Sensei concludes by thanking those present and informing that he has never been to such a strange event like this, but that he liked it. His three-person entourage disappeared even faster into the dark corridor of De Waag than the words that just before came from Chun Sensei's mouth.
