Since 1997, over 200 sessions of stray images and sound have been organised. Artists, writers, scientists and musicians present work in progress, experiment or present work that doesn't fit into their oeuvre (yet). A specific and unique stage for diverse and hybrid works which don't fit comfortably into galleries or museums.

Oskar Fischinger

1900 –  1967 abstract animator, filmmaker and painter (DE, USA), website

He is know for inventing abstract musical animations many decades before the appearance of computer graphics and music videos.

  1. An Optical Poem

    An Optical Poem is a milestone In object animation. Fischinger hang hundreds of paper cuts on invisible wires. The film was commission by MGM. Its Fishingres only film commissioned by a mayor studio. Music is by Franz Listz.
