Since 1997, over 200 sessions of stray images and sound have been organised. Artists, writers, scientists and musicians present work in progress, experiment or present work that doesn't fit into their oeuvre (yet). A specific and unique stage for diverse and hybrid works which don't fit comfortably into galleries or museums.

Mahdi Fleifel

Fleifel was born in Dubai, and grew up in a refugee camp in Lebanon and later in Denmark. In 2009, Fleifel graduated from the British National Film and Television School and founded the production company Nakba FilmWorks with Patrick Campbell. Refugees are prominently featured in his body of work.

  1. A Man Returned

    Reda is 26 years old. His dreams of escaping the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain El-Helweh ended in failure after three years trapped in Greece. He returned with a heroin addiction to life in a camp being torn apart by internal strife and the encroachment of war from Syria.
    Against all odds he decides to marry his childhood sweetheart; a love story, bittersweet as the camp itself.
