Welcome to the Lost & Found archive, featuring photographs and reports from our evenings as well as information about the participating artists. All flyers have been photographed; their materiality is visible, with corners, folds, and relief retaining their tactile quality on screen.This site takes the form of a growth model and behaves as a work in its own right: it is always, and never, finished. The site functions as an archive and is not updated regularly; if you wish for a change or update, you may submit a request.
Since 1997, over 200 sessions of stray images and sound have been organised. Artists, writers, scientists and musicians present work in progress, experiment or present work that doesn't fit into their oeuvre (yet). A specific and unique stage for diverse and hybrid works which don't fit comfortably into galleries or museums.

Tranen
Het is een uur of vier ’s nachts en ik ben weer eens samen met mijn lijfarts in iemands ligbad beland. Die iemand zelf leest ons voor uit De tranen der acacia’svan Hermans. Haar nogal kinderlijke stemmetje contrasteert guitig met de grimmige zinnen. In het schuim dat onze afgematte lichamen aan het oog onttrekt dobberen wijnglazen met een oranjerood goedje erin. Het ziet eruit als Spritz Aperol, maar zo smaakt het niet, ik mis dat frisse van sinaasappels, die barmhartige lichtheid van prosecco. Dit is zwaar spul. De gastvrouw heeft verschillende soorten gedistilleerd door elkaar gemixt, alle even sterk.
Dit is llleven, lallen mijn hersenen, dit is kunst.
